A Saudi association that aims to provide specialized rehabilitation and educational care for children with disabilities free of charge, through an integrated system of services and programs delivered by high-level national and international competencies. The association was founded under in 1979 under the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The association includes a number of rehabilitation centers and facilities throughout the Kingdom and serves and annually serves approximately 4,000 children with disabilities across the Kingdom. The association's rehabilitation services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and special education, all this in addition to psychological, social, diagnostic and assessment services. The association has invested enormous funds to create an ideal rehabilitation and educational environment , rich with the latest equipment and departments at the global level.

When the association began its operations, a temporary logo was created for the association's correspondence, consisting of a black square with a child sitting in a wheelchair inside it.
The first official logo of the association was adopted, featuring a map of the Kingdom with a child sitting in a wheelchair inside it, surrounded by a green heart. The name was "Charity Association for the Care of Disabled Children".
After His Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman assumed the chairmanship of the board, the logo was changed to feature the Kingdom's map in green with a child inside facing west to give the impression of facing the Qibla. The association's name at that time was "Saudi Charity Association for the Care of Disabled Children".
The association signed an agreement with Seay Design Office in the United States to design a new logo (the current one) with support from His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may he rest in peace - Chairman of the Board of Saudi Research and Marketing Group at the time. The logo features a large person helping a small person with disabilities to walk, with a shadow behind them, topped by the phrase "Children's Disability Association".
In compliance with the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect him - to all entities to adopt the use of the term "People with Disabilities" in all official correspondence and media statements, which came based on the recommendation of the Minister of Labor and Social Development at the time, the association's name was changed to "Children's Disability Association" and the logo was modified accordingly.
The association provides its specialized services for children with disabilities through a network of centers in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
