Physical Therapy
A fundamental pillar in the rehabilitation process and the most requested service. Physical therapy’s role in teaching the children with disability and care providers how to minimize dysfunction, enhance individual’s independence and adapt with the physical challenges that might face them in their daily lives is renowned.
The physical therapy sessions in our association are tailored to the needs of the children and designed with Evidence Informed Practice.
Occupational therapy
Occupational Therapy targets patients with neurodevelopmental disabilities by equipping them with productive and energy-efficient activities to be as independent as possible in their daily activities. The Occupational Therapist addresses coordination, reasoning, cognition and visual perception with therapy techniques, adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies to achieve maximal independence.
Speech & Language Pathology
Our certified therapists aim to identify speech, language, feeding and swallowing difficulties and target them with implementation interventions.
The individualized programs intent on gaining improvement in the targeted communication skills and aspire to integrate that in their daily interactions.
Special Education
The highly trained, intensively experienced Special Educationalists focus on improving the cognitive and educational skills. It is an integral step in the rehabilitation journey of children alongside counseling for the care provider to pave the way for integration in the Educational System.
Admission Process
The first step station in the admission process is establishing if the child is fit to be served in the center through screening his documents and reports by a pediatrician/pediatric neurologist.
If the child is deemed fit, then he is booked for an Initial Screening Clinic.
Initial Screening Clinic
The second relay station in the rehabilitation journey is the Evaluation Clinics-Initial Screening Clinic. The interdisciplinary approach comprised of a comprehensive team, thoroughly assesses the child to arrive at the most appropriate decision regarding the presenting neurodevelopmental disorder and the suitable tailored rehabilitation program.
The interdisciplinary team comprises of a Pediatrician/Pediatric Neurologist, a Physical Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Speech & Language Pathologist, a Psychologist, an Educationalist, a nurse and a Social Worker.
The evaluation addresses the neurodevelopmental, psychological, cognitive and social aspects and guides through its thorough results the rehabilitation journey ahead.
