STEP center has 11 branches around kingdom of Saudi Arabia ( north Riyadh , south Riyadh, Jeddah , Makkah , Maddinah, alBaha ,Jazan ,Aseer ,alJouf ,Hail, alRass)

Are children with physical disability or mental disability accepted in (STEP) canters?

Yes. a child with physical / mental disability will be accepted after evaluation in the initial clinic. The child hearing and vision ability must be intact.

Is the attendance of parent / care giver required?

Yes , the attendance of a parent / caregiver is mandatory

Dose (STEP) centers have diagnosis and evaluation services, or families need to perform the diagnosis and evaluation in another center?

Yes ,diagnosis and evaluation services are available after a referral latter from ministry of education .

is newborn child accepted in (STEP) Center ?

Yes. services are provided from birth until 14 years. Above 14 till 16 are considered as” paid track)

Do (STEP) centers provide educational services?

Yes , there are 7 “STEP” schools authorized by ministry of education.

Do (STEP) centers offer adaptation services for wheelchair / wooden chairs?

Yes , there are a specialized workshops in Riyadh and Jeddah to adjust chairs and wheelchairs and to custom orthotics

Are non-Saudi children accepted in (STEP) centers?

Non- Saudi with legit Visa/Iqama are accepted.

Are the services free of charge?

Rehabilitation centers work so hard to cover the financial expenses of the treatment through sponsors and charity platform therefore the patient benefits from the service free of charge.
